Some of our users had problems with GoDaddy hosting having message "no input file specified" when trying to install our software.

If you are having same issue, regardless of what hosting provider you are using, you can try to fix this issue by editing file application/config/config.php. Open this file in your favorite text-editor and find following setting:

$config['index_page'] = 'index.php';
Add the question mark (?) to the end of file name, make it look like this:

$config['index_page'] = 'index.php?';
Then find this:

$config['uri_protocol'] = 'AUTO';
Swtich from 'AUTO' to 'QUERY_STRING':

$config['uri_protocol'] = 'QUERY_STRING';
Save, and re-upload config.php and you should be able to install the script

To enable SEO URLs, you need to use slightly different .htaccess file than the original one:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|upload\.php|images|application|install|assets|robots\.txt)
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?/$1 [L]
<Files license.txt>
Order allow,deny
Deny from all
<Files installed.txt>
Order allow,deny
Deny from all
Note the question mark on line #4. Also, don't forget to modify config.php file as usual:

$config['index_page'] = '';
